The Murray State Women's Golf squad turned in an impressive fourth place finish at the Saluki Invitational hosted by Southern Illinois University at Hickory Ridge GC in
The Lady Racers fired rounds of 315 and 314 and finished with a total of 629.
Andrea Downer was the best finisher for the Lady Racers in placing fifth the field of 76 competitors. She had rounds of 75-77=152 and finished seven shots behind
MSU's Bethany Yates finished 13th with scores of 79-78=157, while Christi Baron was 16th with rounds of 80-78=158. Caroline Lagerborg came home with 30th place with scores of 81-81=162, while Megan McKinney was 34th with scores of 82-81=163. Lauren Hughes had scores of 87-81=168 to finish in 48th position.
Bradley (632) finished fifth with Eastern Illinois (647), Indiana State (648), Drake (654), Austin Peay (658) and Northern Iowa (660) making up the top-10.
The Lady Racers have finished in the top-seven in six straight events.
