Effort and intensity was at a high today during
Head coach
After a brief punting drill the cornerbacks and safeties worked on beating a block and getting to the quarterback. The linebackers spent time improving footwork.
During the offense's station work, players went through a series of drills designed to improve ball protection and breaking through first contact.
Some of the best effort of the day was shown during an inside running drill that pitted the offensive line, quarterbacks and running backs against the defensive line and safeties.
For the second time in three practices the offense conducted a pass skeleton drill against the secondary.
Near the end of practice the team spent a few minutes going 11-on-11. The offense executed a pair of 80-yard scoring plays.
