MSU Golf Leads TSU Event

The Murray State Racer Men's Golf team stands in first place after two rounds of the Tennessee State Intercollegiate being played at Greystone GC in
The Racers fired rounds of 285 and 281 for a total score of 566 and an 18-shot lead over second place
In the final tune-up before the Ohio Valley Conference Championships, the Racers played all-around team golf in the first 36 holes of the 54-hole event.
Mitchell Moore is on the verge of winning for the first time as a collegiate player after firing rounds of two-under 70 and an amazing six-under 66 for a total of 136 on the Greystone course playing to a par of 72 and 6,858 yards.
MSU's Kyle Landrum and Michael Craft could also become winners. Landrum is in second place and looking for his first collegiate victory if he can overtake
Nick Griffin, Chris Griffin and Jared Wolfe played as individuals.
Nick Griffin is in 27th place after scores of 77-75=152. Chris Griffin is in 30th position after scores of 73-80=153 and Wolfe is in 38th place after scores of 73-84=157.
The TSU event ends today with 18 holes at Greystone GC.
