The offense produced six touchdowns, three on the ground and three through the air, while the defense held its own as well, producing two three-and-out series, two sacks, and several rushed throws from the Racer quarterbacks.
Freshman quarterback Jeff Ehrhardt finished the day completing nine of his 15 passes (60 percent) for 128 yards and two touchdowns. Zach Barnard completed two of his four passes for 29 yards, while Chris Franklin completed one of four passes, a 45-yard touchdown strike to Derrick Townsel. Sophomore Nico Yantko also saw action, passing for three yards while going 1-for-3.
Sophomore Josh Jones led the Racer running attack, with 94 yards on 17 attempts, with two touchdowns. Charlie Jordan gained 21 yards on 13 attempts, while Ehrhardt finished with 15 yards on seven attempts, and one touchdown.
Townsel finished with three catches for 59 yards and one touchdown, followed by Rod Harper's four receptions for 54 yards and one touchdown. Lee McGinnis caught two balls for 36 yards, while DeAngelo Nelson caught one pass, a 25-yard touchdown from Ehrhardt. Bryan Cardenas caught one pass for 18 yards, and
For the day, the offense ran 65 plays for 338 yards (205 passing, 133 rushing), with six touchdowns, zero interceptions, and zero fumbles.

The offense had one penalty, while the defense was called for three.
