Llewellyn Scores in MSU Soccer Exhibition

The Murray State Soccer team played Bethel College to a 1-1 tie Saturday at Cutchin Field in spring exhibition play.
MSU soon to be junior Krista Llwellyn scored the Racer goal when she went one one one with a Bethel defender and scored on a terrific shot to back post.
The Racers also played Lipscomb to a scoreless tie later in the day.
"It was great to get our games in this weekend considering the weather," MSU head coach Beth Acreman said. "The field conditions were a challenge for each team, but I felt we still played to our strengths with some good
possessions."
"Our players did a good job in continuing to develop on what we have been working on in practice," Accreman added. "We still have some things to work on, but I am pleased with our improvement."
Acreman said the spring training period has been very good for the Racers.
"We're really responding well to our training this spring and I am excited to see it all come together ready for the Fall," Acreman said.
MSU's next event is the Alumni Game April 28 at 3:30pm on Cutchin Field.
