Sophomore Mitchell Moore of Murray State stands in 13th place after a 5-over 77, while senior Kyle Landrum is in 19th place with a 6-over 78. Junior Jerry Price and senior Michael Craft are tied for 26th place after each carded 7-over 79's. Mark Brant is in 41st place after an 83.

The Racers will try and shave some strokes off JSU's lead on Monday in round two. All competitors will begin their round at the first hole, with MSU's Brant teeing off at 9:10 a.m., followed by Price at 9:18. Craft begins at 9:26, while Landrum starts off at 9:34.
