Scott-Zamjaoui Honored at MSU Student-Athlete Banquet

The 2007 Murray State Athletics Student-Athlete Banquet was held at the
Several awards were handed out including those from MSU Athletics Director Allen Ward.
Ward presented Joi Scott of MSU Basketball and Fadi Zamjaoui of MSU Tennis the Female and Male Athlete of the Year awards. Scott was the Player of the Year in the Ohio Valley Conference and was named All-America Honorable Mention after she turned in a record setting senior season. Zamjaoui was a two-time OVC Player of the Year.
The MSU Golden Horseshoe award for outstanding team success in academics, athletics and community service was given to the MSU Women's Tennis.
The MSU Community Service award was given to the MSU Track & Field/Cross Country team by MSU CHAMPS/Life Skills Director Rosanne Radke.
In other awards, MSU Rifle's Morgan Hicks was named the MSU Head Coach of the Year and Rob Cross was named MSU Assistant Coach of the Year.
The MSU Sportsmanship and Crooked Horseshoe awards were given in each MSU sport.
