Leidolf Named To All-OVC Tournament Team

Senior right fielder Jamie Leidolf was named to the All-O'Reilly Ohio Valley Conference Baseball Championship Tournament Team, according to balloting done by media and league sports information contacts.
Leidolf went 5-for-8 (.625) in Murray State's two games, including a fine performance in the opening-round game against Eastern Kentucky, where he tied career-highs with three hits and two runs scored. Leidolf's batting average was the best in the tournament. He finished with two runs and two runs batted in for the tournament.
Those named to the all-tournament team were: infielders Garrett Rice and Michael Marseco of Samford, Tyler Farrar and Jake Lane of Austin Peay and Jake Ball of Jacksonville State; outfielders Leidolf, Bear Burnett of Samford, Clay Whittemore of Jacksonville State and Rafael Hill of Austin Peay; designated hitter Brian Piazza of Jacksonville State; utility player Jim Klocke of Southeast Missouri; and pitchers Shawn Kelley and Matt Reynolds of Austin Peay and Christian Friedrich of Eastern Kentucky. Reynolds was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.
