The MSU Head Coaches Dinner was a chance for donors to get an inside look at Racer Athletics.
The banquet was set up on the main floor of the RSEC under the scoreboard. After dinner, fans had the chance to hear from each of the 13 MSU head coaches and learn some things that they may not have known before.
“This banquet is a special event,” MSU Athletics Director Allen Ward said. “It's a great way to say thank you to our most loyal supporters and I trust everyone left knowing how much MSU Athletics appreciates their support.”
New MSU President Dr. Randy Dunn also addressed the gathering and Jim Carter MSU Vice President for Advancement was the master of ceremonies for the banquet.
MSU's new women's head basketball coach Jody Adams was the first to speak and she talked about her first weeks on the job with the Racers.
“It's a very busy time getting settled in,” “I'm excited to be your coach and I'm looking forward to the coming season.”

As the evening played out, the progress of each sport at MSU and the quality of its student-athletes was quite evident.
After the banquet, those in attendance had the chance to visit with each head coach in what was a relaxed and casual setting.
Among the topics discussed was the future of athletics facilities, planned improvements and state of the OVC, the current field turf project at Roy Stewart Stadium, and much more.
