Moving on - MSU's Grace Advances at Kentucky State Amateur

Grace, the 2nd seed, won her match over five-time champion Joan Rizer in 21 holes. Grace now takes on 10th seed Marsha Bordas.
Former Racer Lauren Hughes stay in the championship flight ended with a 5 and 3 loss to Morgan Cross.
Former MSU player Stephanie B. Watts (Baskey) lost her match to Kylie Foushee 2-up.
MSU coach Velvet Milkman won her championship flight consolation match by a 6 and 5 score over current MSU player Sarah Seay. Current Racer players Megan McKinney and Bethany Yates won their consolation matches as well:
In the first flight, Christi Baron advanced to the quarterfinals after a 3 and 2 win over Emma Robinson. Kaysin Hutching defeated her MSU teammate Ashley Yates 1-up.
In the second flight, former Racer Tina Marshall lost in her quarterfinal match in 19 holes to Jodi Butler.
Today's quarterfinal matches are slated for morning play with semi-final play to begin at 1 p.m. The championship for each bracket will be played Friday beginning at 9:45 a.m.
