MSU Athletics Breaks Ground on New Soccer/Tennis Facility

Today at 2:30 p.m., Racer Athletics broke ground on a new soccer and tennis locker room complex to be located next to Cutchin Field and the Purcell Tennis Courts.
As a result of a generous gift from Rosemary and Harry L. Crisp II, the Racer Women's Soccer team and the MSU Men's and Women's Tennis teams will be the beneficiary of the new locker room facility. The project is expected to begin in January and be completed prior to the start of the 2008 fall soccer and tennis seasons.

The new facility will house three separate locker rooms, a sports medicine area, a concession area, restrooms, team storage, and a player's lounge.
After the ceremony, the Racer Soccer team hosted Bethel in a 4 p.m. scrimmage at Cutchin Field, winning 5-1.
