MSU Golf Wins Jackson State Event - Wolfe Places Second

The Racers did it with outstanding team play that included eight rounds under par and four of those in the 60's.
Four of MSU's starting five players finished in the top-10 including a career-best second place showing by Jared Wolfe.
The Racers dominated from the start on Monday when they played 36-holes in rounds of 282 and 286. MSU's final score was 850, SIU had an 861 and third place Tennessee-Martin finished at 872. Tennessee Tech (873),
Wolfe's second place showing came from rounds of 76-68-69=213.
Jerry Price finished fourth with scores of 70-70-74=214, while Mitchell Moore placed sixth with scores of 70-74-71=215.
Cameron Carrico had rounds of 73-75-68=216 to finish seventh, Nick Newcomb placed 27th after scores of 69-74-80=223.
Chris Griffin played the tournament as an individual and came through with his best collegiate finish of seventh place with rounds of 69-71-76=216.
The
Over the last three seasons that cover 26 events, Coach Eddie Hunt's team has now turned in 20 top-5 finishes including seven wins.
