MSU Women's Golf Takes Third at ASU

The Murray State Women's Golf team brought home a third place finish Tuesday from the Lady Red Wolf Classic in
The Racers fired rounds of 312-305-312=929 and finished six shots from second place
Bethany Yates and Alex Hinteregger turned in the Racers' best finish by sharing seventh place. Yates had scores of 74-74-84=232, while Hinteregger posted rounds of 76-79-77=232. Megan McKinney improved her standing by seven places in taking 14th place with a final round 77 to go along with an 81 and a 77 for a 235. Morgan Cross placed 20th after scores of 83-75-79=237. Joyce Trus had scores of 81-80-79=240 good for a spot in 27th place.
MSU's Rachel Diuguid played the event as an individual and finished 37th after scores of 81-77-85-243.
The next action for the Racers is at the Austin Peay Intercollegiate starting Monday at Clarksville CC.
