Racer Men's Golf Competes In South Carolina

The Murray State Men's Golf squad stood in fourth place after 36 holes of the Charleston Southern Fall Invitational being played in
The Racers started with a 308, but improved 13 shots in round two posting a 295 the second best score in the second round in the field of 11 teams. MSU's 36-hole total 603 was four shots behind third place team Gardner-Webb, and eight shots behind Radford in second place and 11 shots from the leader Stetson.
Senior Mitchell Moore was in fifth place in the field of 56 competitors after scores of 78-68=146, while Cameron Carrico was in 19th place after rounds of 73-80=153. Jared Wolfe stood in 24th position with rounds of 81-73=154, while Hunter Ford was in 30th with scores of 79-76=155. Chris Griffin's scores of 78-78=156 was good for a spot in 33rd place.
The final 18 holes are scheduled for Tuesday morning.
