Junior defensive end Austen Lane has become a fixture in the opponent's backfield as he has registered 6.5 sacks over the last three games. He collected 3.5 against SEMO and raised his season total to 10.0. He ranks fourth in the FCS in sacks and needs only one more sack to break the MSU single-season record.
