MSU Soccer Crowned Tournament Champions

The six team tournament was hosted at the
MSU Head Coach Beth Acreman was pleased with the way the spring season started.
"It was great to see our team's hard work so far this spring pay off,” Acreman said. “Our student-athletes have been training hard in the weight room and with their individual fitness so it was nice to them in action.”
“We still have a lot to work on, but I am pleased with where we are at this point of the spring," Acreman added.
In conjunction with the event, Murray State Soccer returned to the Expo Indoor facility on Sunday to give back to the local community by hosting a youth clinic for the Graves County Soccer Association. Children ranging from ages 4-to-12 had the chance to learn some skills from the MSU players.
Tara Isbell, a Racer Goalkeeper and Mayfield native, was glad to come back to her hometown.
“It is great to work with the youth in my hometown,” Isbell said. “I want to help them develop and have the great opportunities that I've have through soccer.”
