The Murray State Women's Golf squad turned in a sixth place finish at the Samford Women's Intercollegiate in
The Racers had scores of 295-304-318=917 and finished sixth, two shots behind fifth place
Andrea Downer was MSU's best finisher with a 17th place showing in the field of 90 competitors with scores of 70-77-83=230. Alexandra Hinteregger finished 24th with rounds of 74-76-82=232, while Megan McKinney finished 27th with scores of 78-82-73=233, as did Joyce Trus with scores of 73-74-86=233. Bethany Yates finished 36th after rounds of 78-77-80=235.
MSU's Caroline Lagerborg played as an individual and finished 51st after scores of 78-82-81=241.
The Racers next tournament is the Shamrock Invitational Mar. 22-23 at Tega Bay Golf Club in
