Spring Practice #11

The Murray State football team returned to the field on Friday afternoon for a very competitive practice amidst windy conditions at Stewart Stadium.
Both sides of the football worked to sure up things as they get prepared for a scrimmage on Saturday.
"I loved the competitive spirit today on both sides of the football," said head coach Matt Griffin. "The guys are really starting to get it. Everything they do is about winning and they are fighting to get to that point. I am pleased with the progress. There was no fall off and this is the time of the spring where you worry about that."
During the team period, the offense earned the upper hand as they worked on third-and-medium situations. The ground game was able to move the chains as well as passes over the middle to Marcus Harris and Daniel Ard.
The team will put the final touches on spring practice next week as they have workouts scheduled for Tuesday and Friday leading up to the Blue-Gold game on April 19 at noon.
