Hintgeregger, Downer, Trus Named To All-OVC Golf Team

The Murray State Women's Golf team placed three student-athletes on the 2008 All-Ohio Valley Conference Team Monday during the awards banquet at the OVC Championships in Muscle Shoals,
Sophomore Andrea Downer and Freshman Alexandra Hinteregger were named to the All-OVC Second Team, while Sophomore Joyce Trus was named to the All-OVC Newcomer team. Hinteregger also shares OVC Freshman of the Year honors with Jacksonville State's Laura Cutler.
Downer, from
Hinteregger joined the Racers as a freshman from La Lucia Durban, South Africa and has played 22 rounds with a scoring average of 78.4. She had a season-best ninth place finish this spring at the Shamrock Intercollegiate.
