MSU Men's Golf Leads Event In North Carolina

The Murray State Men's Golf team is one round from winning the Sea Trail Intercollegiate in
The Racers' 36-hole total of 578 is 14 shots clear of second place Belmont-Abbey at 592.
MSU's Hunter Ford has a one shot lead on Tennessee Tech's Greyson Hunter and can win his first collegiate title with another good round on Sunday. Ford has rounds of 71-70=141 and is three-under at Sea Trail GC.
Cameron Carrico is in third place after rounds of 74-69=143, while Nick Newcomb is in sixth place with scores of 74-71=145. Chris Griffin's scores of 78-73=151 is good for a spot in 38th place, while Jared Wolfe is in 71st place with scores of 76-80=156.
Mitchell Moore is playing as an individual and is in sixth place with rounds of 70-75=145.
The tournament finishes with 18 holes on Sunday.
