MSU Soccer Lands Two On OVC Weekly Honors List

Murray State Soccer placed Tara Isbell and Jenna Fioranelli on the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week list in voting conducted by the league's sports information directors.
Isbell, a sophomore from
Isbell's weekend shutouts lowered her goals against average to 1.15 good for third in the league. She also leads all OVC keepers with 1,019 minutes in goal this season.
Isbell has eight shutouts in her MSU career and ranks third all-time in the program. Second place is Heather Jones (2003-06) with nine and Karen Fitzharris (2000-03) holds down first place with 15.
Fioranelli is a freshman with only 11 games in her MSU career after coming to the program from
Fioranelli has started every game and has logged 817 minutes for an average of 75.1 per game.
The Racers have first place in the OVC after winning both games last weekend when they defeated Southeast Missouri 1-0 Friday in
