Murray State Sweeps OVC Golfer Of The Week Honors

Murray State made a clean sweep of the Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the Week awards when the league office named Alexandra Hinteregger and Jared Wolfe this week's winners.
The sweep for the Racers is the first since Nikki Orazine and Kyle Shirley earned the awards March 9, 2005.
Hinteregger, a junior from La Lucia Durban, South Africa, turned in a fourth place finish (three shots off the lead) in a field of 67 players at the Lady Red Wolf Classic at Jonesboro, Ark. She had scores of 79-73=152 and helped the Racers finish second in a field of 13 teams.
The event was cut to 36 holes because of rain.
Hinteregger's next event with her Racer teammates is Monday in Clarksville, Tenn. at the Austin Peay Intercollegiate. The event will be played at Clarksville CC.
Jared Wolfe, a senior from Louisville, Ky., also helped his MSU team to a second place finish at the Skyhawk Intercollegiate in Paris, Tenn.
Wolfe, who led the field with 19 birdies, finished second in a field of 89 players with rounds of 69-66-70-205, which was two shots from the leader.
The MSU men's team also plays Monday in the Austin Peay Intercollegiate at the Links at Novadell GC in Hopkinsville, Ky.
