Wet and sloppy conditions made for a tough day for the Racers. After allowing two goals in the first half Tara Isbell replaced Walsh in net. Isbell was able to slow down the Skyhawks offense as she tallied four saves without allowing a goal. Unfortunately, the Racers offense wasn't able to capitalize and they could only manage five shots and weren't able to slip one by the goalkeeper as they eventually fell, 2-0.
Walsh took the loss in net as she fell to 4-3-1, while Rachel Wright and Hargreaves led MSU with two shots.
