STORY LINES
- Saturday's game against Southeat Missouri will be boadcast live on the internet at KFVS12.com.
- Murray State was won the previous two meetings ove the Redhawks and are victorious in 13 of the last 15 meetings. The two-game winning streak is the longest over an OVC opponent entering this season.
- True freshman Casey Brockman will make his second career start against the Redhawks. The walk-on earned OVC Newcomer of the Week honors after going 18-fo-33 for 216 yards and a touchdown in the victory over Austin Peay.
- The Racer defense has been strong on third downs over the past two games as MSU has held its opponents to just 3-for-16 on third-down conversions. MSU held Austin Peay to just 1-of-15 after holding Eastern Illinois to just 2-of-11 the week before.
- Buck Buchanan Award candidate Austen Lane recorded a career-best 3.5 sacks against SEMO last season. The All-American currently leads the FCS in sacks and ranks second in tackles-for-loss.
About the Opponent
Southeast Missouri enters the contest with an overall record of 1-8 and an 0-7 mark in the OVC.
SEMO is coming off a 24-3 defeat at the hands of Jacksonville State.
The Redhawks are averaging an OVC-best 169.9 yards a game on the ground. On the contrary, SEMO is allowing opponents to rush for 207.9 yards per game.
SEMO is averaging 140.9 yards a game through air, but only 129.7 yards a game in OVC action.
Quarterback Matt Scheible is 125-for-254 for 1,253 yards, seven touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

The Racers hold a 36-6-1 advantage in the all-time series that dates back to 1926. MSU has come away victorious in each of the last two meetings, and 15 of the last 17. The Racers last visit to Houck Stadium resulted in a 31-17 victory in a game that was scoreless at the half.
