Frank Allen's all-time best of 251 from 1989-93 still stands as the best in MSU history from three-point land.
Holloway, who will be honored before the JSU game, is the first to get to 1,000 since Shawn Witherspoon joined the club in 2007. Chris Shumate, Cuthbert Victor, and Antione Whelchel joined the club in 2004.
Danero Thomas is well on his way to joining the club. He starts the day with 817 career points.
