Due to expected cold temperatures and snow showers in the Murray area on Saturday, the scheduled baseball game between Murray State and South Dakota State has been postponed. The two teams will now play a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 12 p.m. The first game will be a nine-inning contest, followed by a seven-inning game.

The two teams opened the 2009 season on Friday with the 'Breds winning 6-3 behind a four-RBI performance from right fielder Daniel Hill.
