The ?Breds are coming off a series victory on opening weekend after taking the first two games against South Dakota State. Pitching was the story of the weekend as the ?Breds allowed just eight earned runs in the three games.
The offensive star was Daniel Hill who went 5-for-12 with five RBIs, including hitting a home run in his first collegiate at-bat.
Both teams will send right handers to mound as MSU will give the ball to junior Dan Huff and the Tigers will counter with junior Marc Ashley. Huff made his MSU debut Friday and picked up a save after allowing just two hits and striking out four in three shutout innings. Ashley will be making his first appearance of the season.
Offense is usually the name of the game when the two teams match up. Last season, the two teams combined to score 48 runs in the two meetings.

In the return visit to Reagan Field, MSU score five runs in the bottom of the ninth inning, but it was not enough as the ?Breds fell 17-14.
