MSU Women's Golf Competes in Florida Event

The Murray State Women's Golf team stands in 10th place after two rounds of the El Diablo Intercollegiate in
The Racers had rounds of 313-328=641 on Thursday at the El Diablo Resort on a course that plays 5,902 yards and a par of 72.
MSU's Joyce Trus was in 23rd place in the field of 87 competitors with rounds of 79-80=159, while teammate Megan McKinney stood in 27th place with scores of 77-83=160. Andrea Downer had rounds of 80-81=161 and was in 31st place with teammate Morgan Cross who had scores of 77-84=161. Bethany Yates was in 65th place after rounds of 83-88=171.
Alexandra Hinteregger is playing the event as an individual and was in 57th place with rounds of 86-83=169.
Florida Atlantic (614) was in second place with James Madison (619) in third.
Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn of Florida Atlantic was the leader for medalist honors after scores of 68-71=139.
The tournament wraps up Friday with the final 18 holes.
