Spring Practice #3

The Murray State football team put on the pads for a very spirited practice Friday afternoon on the turf at Stewart Stadium. It was the Racers first practice in pads this spring.

The Racers took the field in the late afternoon and continued to implement new phases of their offense and defense.

"I was really pleased with the competitive spirit today," said head coach Matt Griffin. "It was a real good, physical practice in pads. The kids were excited and made plays on both sides of the ball. We just to continue with it and play the next play."

The Racers will return to the field Saturday morning at 9 a.m. MSU is scheduled to host it's first scrimmage next Saturday.
