Racer Women's Golf Competes At Saluki Invitational

The Murray State Women's Golf team stood in 11th place after the first round of the 36-hole Saluki Invitational at Hickory Ridge GC in

Drake was the leader at 313, with Bradley in second at 321 in the field of 15 teams.
MSU's Bethany Yates was in 19th place in the field of 92 competitors after a first round 82, while teammate Joyce Trus was in 25th place after an 83. Alex Hinteregger's 84 was good for a spot in 34th, with Andrea Downer in 44th after an 85. Megan McKinney was in 53rd place with an 87, and Morgan Cross had an 89 for a spot in 63rd place.
Ashley Yates played as an individual and was in 89th place after a 104.
The final round will be played starting with a 9 a.m. shotgun start at the Hickory Ridge course that is playing to a par of 74 and 5,999 yards.
