The Murray State Women's Golf team fired rounds of 315 and 309 and stand in fifth place at the EKU Spring Invitational at Arlington GC in

Central Arkansas (609) is the leader and
Andrea Downer of MSU is in sixth place in the field of 102 competitors after scores of 77-76=153, while Joyce Trus is in 11th place after carding scores of 76-78=154. Megan McKinney is in 31st place with scores of 81-78=159, while Morgan Cross stands in 45th place with scores of 81-80=161. Bethany Yates had scores of 85-77=162 and is in 51st position.
Alex Hinteregger is playing the event as an individual and is in 57th place after scores of 82-81=163.
Austin Peay (641) is in 11th place with Tennessee Tech (643), Eastern Kentucky (647), Southern Illinois (660), and SIU Edwardsville (665) making up the top-15.
The final round will begin at 9 a.m. eastern time Sunday morning.
