The Murray State football team held their last spring practice with full contact and pads in Stewart Stadium Tuesday afternoon and the intensity flowed from both sides of the line.

The team spent most of the practice in position groups, which allowed each side to make big plays during skelly and a short scrimmage.

"I will meet with the seniors tomorrow night and we know what our expectations are as a unit," said head coach Matt Griffin. "I think we are a pretty good football team right now and this summer will really determine how good we can be in the fall."

The team will have a walk through tomorrow night and will work mostly on special teams.

The Racers will hit the gridiron again on Thursday, April 16th at 6 p.m. for their annual spring game.
