MSU Women's Golf Competes At Ole Miss Rebel Intercollegiate

MSU's Andrea Downer, Joyce Trus, and Alex Hinteregger each carded 79 in round one and shared a spot in 26th place in the field of 77 competitors. Hinteregger is playing as an individual.
Megan McKinney's 80 was good for a spot in 34th place, while Morgan Cross had an 81 and a spot in 38th place. Bethany Yates was in 57th place after an 84.
MSU's 319 was ahead of ninth place
Tulane was the first round leader at 300, with Southern Mississippi (304), Ole Miss (307), Oregon State (311), Missouri (312), Arkansas State (313), and Kennesaw State (314) rounding out the top seven.
Tulane's Dianiela Holmqvist was the first round leader after a 73.
The Ole Miss course is playing to a par of 72 from the championship tees.
Round two is schedule for Saturday, with the final round on Sunday.
