MSU Stays Determined In NCAA Round Two

The Murray State Racers fired a 327 in the second round of the 2009 NCAA Women's Golf Tournament Central Regional and will be in 20th place when play begins Saturday in the final round at the Scarlet Course in
The Racers had a 322 in Thursday's first round and have a 36-hole total 649 and to share 20th place with Fairleigh Dickinson. Harvard was in 18th place at 641 and
MSU's top finisher through 36 holes is Megan McKinney who fired an 83 to go along with a first round 75. Her 158 total is good for a spot in 80th place in the field of 107 competitors.
Joyce Trus is in 85th place after rounds of 79-80=159, while Andrea Downer is in 99th with scores of 84-81=165. Morgan Cross and Bethany Yates are in 101st position. Cross had scores of 84-83-167, while Yates carded scores of 84-83=167.

The Racers final round of their season begins Saturday at the first hole at 1:30 p.m. eastern time when Bethany Yates tees it up for the final time in her senior season. Morgan Cross has a tee time of 1:40 p.m., while Andrea Downer begins at 1:50 p.m. Joyce Trus tees off at 2 p.m., with Megan McKinney starting at 2:10 p.m.
