MSU Soccer Adds Three To 2009 Freshmen Class

The Racers have good numbers in the junior class with eight returners to go along with what was a very strong freshman class that has now moved to sophomore status. MSU has only one senior in 2009, Nicole Evans.
When the season begins in August, Acreman wants to see her team gel quickly.
"I know we have a lot of hard work ahead of us,” Acreman said. “Our returning players have been very focused since last season and understand what it takes to move to the next level.”
“I feel our incoming class is not only good on the field and in the classroom, they are also people that can fit into our plan. So I'm very excited about this season but know we have a lot of work to do."
The Racers open their 2009 season Aug. 15 at Cutchin Field with an exhibition contest against IPFW.
The regular season starts at the Mississippi Valley State Classic in Itta Bena, Miss Aug. 21 & 23. The Racers take on MVSU first and then Arkansas-Little Rock.
