Racers Hold Productive Sunday Practice

The Murray State football team continued its push through preseason workouts as the Racers battled through the heat Sunday afternoon on the turf at Stewart Stadium. The Racers continued the installation process one day after competing in their second scrimmage.
“It was good to get them out after a longer scrimmage, get a good sweat going and knock out some bruises,” said head coach Matt Griffin. “I was really pleased with the way they executed and concentrated today. These are days that generally, after long scrimmages, combined with the heat, on a Sunday, a lot of guys will let down. I credit our seniors for not letting that happen and having a very productive day for us.”
The Racers return to practice Monday afternoon at 4:05 p.m.
