Lagerborg Leads Racer Charge To Lead APSU Intercollegiate

APSU Intercollegiate Results
The Murray State women's golf team carries a seven-shot lead into the final round of the Austin Peay Intercollegiate Tuesday at Clarksville CC in Clarksville, Tenn.
On Monday, the Racers built a lead after a stellar day when they fired a 298 in the first round of the 36-hole event.
Caroline Lagerborg fired an even-par 72 and had a spot in second place in the field of 77 players. She was one shot behind WKU's Jordan Magruder who carded a 71.
MSU's Alexandra Lennartsson and Morgan Cross shared fifth place after each posted 75. Delaney Howson was in ninth place after a 76 and Alli Weaver had a spot in 22nd place with a 79.
Alex Hinteregger is playing for MSU as an individual and was in 53rd place with an 84.
The Racers' 298 was ahead of second place WKU at 306 and third place Jacksonville State at 311.
Troy (313), Belmont (314), Eastern Kentucky (317), Austin Peay (318), Houston Baptist (320, Eastern Illinois (321) and SIUE (328) made up the top-10, while Tennessee Tech (337) and Lipscomb (346) rounded out the field of 12 teams.
The Clarksville CC course is playing to a par of 72 and 5,960 yards.
The APSU event, a preview of next spring's Ohio Valley Conference Tournament, wraps up Tuesday morning with the final 18 holes.
