Isbell Selected OVC Goalkeeper of the Week

Murray State senior Tara Isbell has been named Ohio Valley Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for Sept. 27 – Oct. 3.
She was perfect in net for the Racers last weekend, picking up a pair of shutouts with two saves as MSU defeated Jacksonville State 1-0 in overtime and holding off Austin Peay by stopping eight shots on net in a 0-0 tie.
Isbell, the Murray State career shutout leader, has five shutouts this season and 22 overall.
She was previously named OVC Goalkeeper of the Week on Aug. 24 after opening the season with two shutouts.
MSU returns to action Oct. 6 with a non-conference match at Evansville. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
