The Murray State women's golf squad came home with a fifth-place showing at the EKU Lady Colonel Classic at Arlington GC in Richmond, Ky.
The Racers carded rounds of 304-307-313=924 to finish behind fourth place Toledo at 919.
Andrea Downer and Megan McKinney led the Racers with the pair sharing seventh place in the field of 101 competitors. Downer had scores of 76-76-75=227, while McKinney recorded rounds of 73-75-79=227.
MSU's Joyce Trus posted a 13th place finish with scores of 77-76-76=229, while Alex Lennartsson finished 47th after rounds of 78-80-84=242. Morgan Cross was 66th with scores of 83-82-83=248.
Caroline Lagerborg and Alex Hinteregger played the event as individuals. Lagerborg finished 20th with scores of 77-74-79=230 and Hinteregger finished 59th after scores of 81-81-85=247.
Morehead State was the winner of the event at 905, with Memphis (909) and Arkansas State (913) making up the top-3.
The Arlington GC played to a par of 72 and 5,817 yards.
The Racers play the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament April 22-24 at Greystone GC in Dickson, Tenn.
