Racer Golf Takes Lead Into Final Round At Big Blue Invitational

The Murray State Racers carry the lead into the final round of the Big Blue Invitational at King's Creek GC in Spring Hill, Tenn.
The Racers have the lead after carding scores of 280-288=568 in Monday's two rounds to lead second place John A. Logan (573) by five shots.
MSU's Cameron Carrico had a spot in fifth place in a field of 90 players after scores of 69-70=139, while Nick Newcomb was in 12th place with rounds of 69-72=141. Jared Wolfe had a spot in 17th with scores of 71-73=144, while Patrick Newcomb was in 19th place after scores of 71-74=145 and Chris Griffin was in 28th place after scores of 74-73=147.
Dustin Gosser was in 48th place as an individual after scores of 76-73=149.
Belmont was in third place at 574, while Dayton (578), SIUE (578), Eastern Illinois (579), Evansville (580), Texas Pan-American (583), Tennessee State (583) and Morehead State (585) made up the top-10.
Filip Timmerman of JAL is the medalist leader after scores of 69-66=135.
The final round is Tuesday morning on the King's Creek course playing 6,470 yards and a par of 70.
