Football Holds Final Scrimmage Saturday Morning

With the end of Spring Practice just over a week away, Murray State head coach Chris Hatcher will put his Racers through their final scrimmage before the Blue and Gold Bowl Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at Stewart Stadium. The scrimmage, as well as any practice are opened to the public.

The Racers continue spring workouts Wednesday morning with a 5:20 a.m. practice. MSU returns to field Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. After the Saturday scrimmage, the Racers will hold practice Monday and Wednesday morning at 5:20 a.m.

The Spring will wrap up with the Blue and Gold Bowl at Stewart Stadium on Thursday, April 15 at 6:30 p.m. Festivities will get underway at 4 p.m. and the event is free to everybody. The game will feature a new format this year as the game will include a flag football game between the Greeks and the Intramurals. The event also gives people the opportunity to buy or renew their season tickets for the 2010 season.

The 2010 season kicks off Sept. 2 at Kent State.
