Bryan Propst Named Pepsi Athlete Of The Week

Murray State Baseball student-athlete Bryan Propst is the Pepsi Athlete of the Week for the period of May 10-16.

Propst, a senior from Springfield, Mo., delivered a two-run home run to left field to cap off an four-run seventh inning as Murray State rallied for a 7-5 victory over Morehead State in the first game of a doubleheader May 15, at Reagan Field. His only hit of the day was good for his 11^th homer of the season.

Propst also had a 1-for-3 day at the plate earlier in the week against Memphis.

The 'Breds took the first game from the Eagles, but had to settle for a tie in the other and then saw the third game of the series rained out on Sunday.

MSU heads to Tennessee Tech Friday for a winner-take all series to determine the Ohio Valley Conference regular season title.

The 'Breds are looking for their first OVC title since 1991.
