Jared Wolfe Named Pepsi Athlete Of The Week

Murray State Golf student-athlete Jared Wolfe is the Pepsi Athlete of the Week for the period of May 17-23.

Wolfe, a senior from Louisville, Ky., was part of MSU's first appearance in the NCAA Golf Championship in 19 years when the Racers played at the Warren GC in Notre Dame, Ind., at the NCAA Central Regional.

He came home as the Racers' best finisher with a spot in 39^th place in the field of 75 players after rounds of 73-73-70=216 on the Warren GC that played to a par of 70.

Wolfe had a 73.5 scoring average in the 2009-10 season and was named Ohio Valley Conference Second Team and All-Tournament Team.
