Meet The Racers Day Set for Aug. 21

Event begins with Little Racers Camp at Stewart Stadium
Murray State head football coach Chris Hatcher has announced that the Racer football team will host a Meet The Racers Day at Stewart Stadium on Aug. 21. The event, which will be held rain or shine, includes a Little Racers Camp, and an autograph and picture session with the 2010 Racer players and coaching staff.
The event gets underway at 9 a.m. with registration for the Little Racers Camp. The camp, which is for kids age 5-12, will run from 9:45-10:45 a.m., and includes drills and sport specific activities. The camp concludes with the campers meeting in the Racers locker room and simulating the Racers taking the field for a Saturday contest. In case of inclement weather, the camp will be held on the upper concourse of the RSEC.
Starting at 11 a.m., the event will move to the upper concourse of the Regional Special Events Center (RSEC), where fans will have an opportunity to meet their favorite Racers as the players will be available for autographs and photo opportunities.
Schedule cards and posters will be available, as well as season tickets and Fantastic Fan packages. Also, a concession stand inside the RSEC will be open during the autograph session.
Media members will have the opportunity to speak with head coach Chris Hatcher, defensive coordinator Ashley Anders, offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner and select players beginning at 12 p.m. in the RSEC.
