Nordahl Named Pepsi Athlete Of The Week

Junior defender Maja Nordahl has been named Pepsi Athlete of the Week for Aug. 23 - Aug. 29.
Nordahl's second career goal came in the 68th minute with Murray State trailing 2-0 against South Florida from 35 yards out.
Her first goal of the season earned her Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week accolades, the Racers' second award in two weeks of competition. She tallied five shots in 70 minutes as MSU blanked Alabama A&M 1-0 in overtime.
The Racers return to action Sept. 3 with a 7:35 p.m. match at Tulsa.
