Results

The Murray State women's golf team improved in round two of the Bettie Lou Evans Fall Invitational in Lexington, Ky.

The Racers recorded a 327 in round two after a 330 to start the event. MSU had a 616 and moved up a spot in 13th place.
Morgan Cross and Delaney Howson lead MSU with a spot in 32nd place. Cross had scores of 71-80=161, while Howson had scores of 83-78=161. Alexandra Lennartsson was in 57th place after carding scores of 85-81=166, while Alli Weaver had a spot in 67th place with rounds of 81-88=169. Sophie Olley had scores of 95-91=186 and was in 89th place.

The Racers (657) trailed Jacksonville State by six shots and led Akron by two shots.

Central Florida was the leader at 616, while Kentucky (621), Michigan (632), Augusta (633) and Illinois (633) rounded out the top five.

The event is hosted by the University of Kentucky at the University Club.

The final round is Sunday.
