Racers Three Shots Off Lead At Arkansas State

The Murray State women's golf team stands in second place after the first day of the Lady Red Wolf Classic in Jonesboro, Ark.
The Racers carded rounds Monday of 295-302=597 and trailed host Arkansas State by three shots after rounds of 299-295=594.
The Racers had five of MSU's players were in the top-20 in the event after the first 36 holes of this 54 hole event at Jonesboro Country Club.
MSU had Alexandra Lennartsson with a spot in second place with scores of 73-72=145, while Delaney Howson was in third with rounds of 70-77=147. Morgan Cross had rounds of 75-77=152 for a spot in ninth place, while Alli Weaver was in 12th after scores of 77-76=153. Sophie Olley carded rounds of 77-80=157 and was in 16th.
Northern Iowa was in third at 614 and was followed by McLennan (622), Central Arkansas (632), Jackson State (643), Western Kentucky (664 ) and Quincy (743).
The final round is set for Tuesday morning.
