Murray State head soccer coach Beth Acreman has announced the signing of eight student athletes as part of the 2011 signing class.
Joining the Racers in 2011 are Erin Smith (Carollton, Texas), Julie Mooney (St. Peters, Mo.), Teryn Wright (Nicholasville, Ky.), Emma Abney (Crestwood, Ky.), Lauren Kelly (Huntsville, Ala.), Stephanie Gale (Northampton, England), Yi Du (Shanghai, China) and Bronagh Kerins (Sligo, Ireland).
“We are very excited to add these players to our 2011 roster,” Acreman said. “Each player will enhance a strong returning class and we are very excited about the upcoming season. We're determined to rebound from a tough 2010 season from injuries but I am confident that we will have all the pieces needed to make it happen.”
