UNI Snowbird Intercollegiate - Racers Third After Round One

The Murray State women's golf team fired a first round 313 to get a spot in third place in the field of 11 teams at the UNI Snowbird Intercollegiate at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Tampa, Fla.

The Racers were 10 shots behind second place Longwood and 12 back of the leader Saint Leo.

Morgan Cross led MSU with a first round 76 good for a spot in seventh place in the field of 64 players, while Caroline Lagerborg's 77 earned a spot in 10^th. Delaney Howson and Alex Hinteregger had a spot in 19^th place after each carded an 80. Alli Weaver was in 43^rd after an 85.

Southern Illinois (315) was in fourth place, with Utah Valley (319), Chicago State (326), Montana State (328), host Northern Illinois (330), Lenoir-Rhyne (336), Wellesley (353) and Illinois-Springfield (354) rounding out the field.

MSU's Alexandra Lennartsson is playing the event as an individual and had a spot in fourth
place after she shot a 75.

The Pebble Creek GC is playing to a par-72 and 6,074 yards.
