Soccer Takes Title at 7 vs. 7 Tournament

Murray State soccer swept the competition as hosts of a 7-vs-7 indoor soccer tournament this past weekend, knocking off Bethel, Lipscomb, Arkansas-Little Rock and Austin Peay.
The Racers finished the weekend 5-0, including defeating Austin Peay 3-2 in the championship game.
""We were excited to win this weekend," head coach Beth Acreman said. "It was a great way to start our spring season. I saw a lot of good things from the players and I could tell the conditioning work we have been doing has paid off. We will continue to work hard this spring and look forward to our next event."
